An Athlete's Diary
I just finished a chapter on mobility and flexibility.
Instead of participating in static stretching prior to exercise, wait until your workout is done to stretch.
Use the time prior to exercise to activate and mobilize the tissues you are going to be working during that particular workout.
Mobility can be defined as the full range of motion throughout the entire body with the ability to recruit the muscles being lengthened on command.
With years of experience in the competitive sports arena as a player and a coach, training athletes is a passion of mine. Couple that with my experience in the fitness industry and I look forward to training athletes at the foundational levels of their sport.
