An Athlete's Diary
Have you ever been coached before? Do you know what good coaching can do for you? If you played a sport or took a class you know how valuable a coach can be for your success. You step onto the field, declare you're there to work and improve, listen and take the guidance from someone who has your best interest at heart and you go for it!
That's what I do. I'm a coach. I want to be your coach. Earlier this week I was committed to taking on 10 new clients. That's unheard of for me. Now that number is down to three. If you would like to step into your greatness and experience what it's like to receive one on one coaching, now's your chance.
This process is not about me. It's about you. You come to it with goals and dreams. You come to this experience with challenges that are holding you back. We've all got them. Maybe you don't even know what those challenges are. I can help you discover them, create a plan to overcome them and crush through those barriers like they didn't even exist. My commitment is to equip you with the tools and motivation you need to take massive action towards your goals and dreams.
I could give you an extensive list of ultra - marathon finishes or talk about my training and nutrition certification but I won't bore you with those details. It's not about me. It's about you. There are three spots left. Take action now and you will be glad you did.
I am excited to be a part of your journey. If you would like to talk on the phone before purchasing this four call coaching package, please email me at email@example.com. I would love to talk with you and explain the process more in depth. If you are like me and are ready to commit when you know the opportunity is right, sign up now and email me to set up a free phone call in addition to the four included in the package. I'll walk you through the process and we'll explore how this customized program will best benefit your individual needs.
Are you looking to lose weight, be more efficient, gain more energy, get clear on your vision or do you need a push to take action in your life? Any of these things and more could be part of your journey towards more and better health and success.
I have over 15 years coaching experience. I’ve coached professional athletes, company owners and executives and hourly employees and seen success at every level. I coached a World Series Champion as he prepared for the pre – season. I coached business owners and executives to back to back 20% company profit growth. I’ve coached hourly employees to run their first 5k and improve their quality of life.
The process is simple. There are four phone calls. They are spread out over the course of a couple of months if necessary. This program goes on your schedule. It’s not a once a week approach. With each call we will determine action items that you will be responsible for taking. I’ve got a number of tools at my disposal and will create new ones specifically for you if necessary.
I am happy to get on the phone, Skype or Google + to discuss more in depth how this four call process can impact your health and success. That call is FREE! Think of it as a try it before you buy it meeting.
If you would like to set up a meeting please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you are ready to commit today, click the link to pay securely via PayPal. Your first call will still be free. I’ll lay out the process and get you started. Last week it was 10 new clients. This week it’s 7. Act now. The remaining spots will fill fast.
We are all blessed with gifts. I have recently gotten clearer on exactly what I’m supposed to be doing. I’m a coach. I've already written about that. I am a certified Trainer and Nutrition Coach. I've been coaching for over 15 years.
One thing I rarely do is take on new clients. In the past two years I have taken on two new clients. They are still with me today. That being said the fact that I’m looking to take on 10 new clients is a big deal for me.
Here’s how this process will work:
What you get – Keep in mind that everything listed is a starting point. This process is a commitment. I’m committing to your implementation. Your implementation and trust in the process is ultimately what will get you the results you’re looking for. There’s a Grocery List, Meal Planner, Exercise APP Access and a Master Scheduling Template. This next thing is where the value lies. I tell people all the time and I firmly believe it to be true. Knowledge without implementation is a waste. We are in a world full of knowledge. The value lies in the coaching. That’s why I’m including weekly phone calls to coach you in real time towards your goals. The process will start with an email from me with a form for you to fill out prior to our first meeting. In that first meeting we’ll get clear on what you want to achieve, why you want to achieve it, the date you’ll accomplish it by and we’ll agree on two action items that will be most impactful specific to your goals. Then, it will be your job to execute on those actions until the next time we speak. I’ll ask you some questions about how it went then we’ll move from how it went to how it’s going to go. That will repeat for four phone calls. Once those calls are up, you’ll have the opportunity to continue on with the coaching or opt out and go it on your own.
I try to teach principles that last long after I’m out of the equation. I’m here to serve you. I’m here to meet you where you are and help you to a better place. Growth is a keystone habit. I operate on four pillars of Health and Success. They are Stress Management, Sleep Habits, Food Choices and Exercise. Those of us that are working towards the middle in those four areas are bound to be successful.
I want to be your coach. I will travel your journey with you with compassion and understanding. I will be there for you and help you shift your thoughts and action in real time.
My in person rate goes to $250 per hour. I am offering this four call process to you at just $250. Once you sign up I’ll reach out to you via email and we’ll get this thing started. It doesn't matter where you are today. What matters is where you're going and I want to be a part of that direction. Maybe you want to run, lose weight, get stronger, reduce stress, sleep better, eat healthier or be healthier. Maybe you are looking to get unstuck in your life, to take more action, to get clearer on your life mission or vision. You might be looking for some scheduling tips and real time coaching in creating a calendar in your life that serves you.
Well, it's time for event #1 in my winter ski series. With little snow and a move to coordinate, I'll be heading into this first one looking to get some time on my skis.
There have been many things calling for my attention in the past few weeks. The longest I've gone has been 14 miles. The thing that most concerns me would be my ability to fuel during this 58k event. Depending on conditions it will likely take four hours or so. I will draw on my experience.
We have sold our house and close in just a matter of weeks. Needless to say there is a lot going on right now in my world. Which makes the timing of this ski series even that much more perfect. I can feel my blood pressure going down just thinking about my day on the trail. There will be nothing on my mind in those moments except for what will contribute to me getting to the end of the 58k Vasaloppet.
I think that's part of the reason why I like ultra - adventure. I'm challenged to the point where I need to think of nothing but the task at hand. There is no room for clutter. The other part is the community. I get emotional writing to you now thinking about being surrounded by the ultra - community. It's difficult to describe the energy around an event unless you've experienced it for yourself.
So, as I work through this week in the moment, I look forward to the opportunity that lies ahead on Saturday. I'll spend a good part of the day gliding one foot in front of the other as I begin this four event ski series.
One thought I've had while training lately is I've been thinking about what you are training for in your life. Are you training for an athletic event, your job, being a parent or maybe all of the above like me? What's most important to you? Are you living in the moment or do you find yourself thinking about what's next? I don't know the answer to any of those questions but I would challenge you to declare your priorities and act accordingly.
I'll follow up next week with how event one ended up. I'll also preview event two, the Minnesota Finlandia in Bemidji, MN. Make it great folks and keep being an inspiration! - Jon
